Courtesy Visit: ACEPHAP receives Chief Medical Director of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital

The African Centre of Excellence for Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP) hosted the Chief Medical Director of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Prof. Ahmed Hamidu, and his team on a strategic courtesy visit to strengthen institutional collaboration. Discussions focused on potential partnerships in Gynecology, Oncology, and Genomics, emphasizing joint research, clinical training, and capacity building to improve population health outcomes. The delegation also toured ACEPHAP’s Simulation and Sequencing Laboratories, highlighting the Centre’s advanced facilities, and both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to impactful collaboration in healthcare, research, and policy development.

Gynaecological Skills Training: ACEPHAP, RCOG, experts push for National Scale-up

Prof. Hadiza Shehu Galadanci, the Director of Africa Center of Excellence for Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP), has emphasized that Gynaecological Skills Training has the potential of saving more lives. She made this known during the Essential Gynaecological Skills (EGS) Manuals Dissemination Workshop which was held on Monday, 21st July, 2025 at Abuja.

ACEPHAP participates in RCOG World Congress 2025

The African Centre of Excellence for Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP) is proud to participate in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) World Congress 2025, currently underway at ExCeL London, United Kingdom. The Centre’s Director, Professor Hadiza Shehu Galadanci, and a Research Fellow from the Centre, Dr. Aminu Wakili, are attending this prestigious global event, which runs from June 23 to 25, 2025.
