College of Health Sciences, CIT and ACEPHAP unite to Amplify Digital Presence and Research Outreach

The African Centre of Excellence for Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP), together with the College of Health Sciences under Bayero University Kano (BUK), recently met with representatives of the BUK Center for Information Technology (CIT) to explore strategies for enhancing their collective online presence. The discussion focused on creating a unified and more dynamic digital connection with the university’s official website to ensure that each center’s activities and achievements are effectively showcased.

Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening synergy with the university’s web platforms to facilitate timely publication of research outputs, innovations, and ongoing projects. By improving digital visibility and streamlining the dissemination process, the centers aim to expand their reach, foster new collaborations, and enhance the global impact of their scholarly and innovative contributions.

The meeting, chaired by the Director of CIT, Mal. Umar Sani Hanga, alongside Hafsat Musa Abdullahi and other CIT officials, was hosted by the College of Health Sciences. It set the foundation for coordinated website updates, improved content management, and long-term digital communication strategies designed to elevate the online footprint and research visibility of all participating centers within the BUK community.
